Mr. Chapman is a teacher at our school and as part of the Film and Media week at school, we were assigned him to interview. Some of us in the group are taught by Mr. Chapman for IGCSE but others didn’t really know him at all before this process began.

 

The film gives us a little insight into his work as a teacher at Yew Chung and also some interesting experiences that he has had with his students at the school. We also learned a little about his life outside of school. Mr. Chapman has been teaching at YCIS for 15 years (including 3 years at YCIS Qingdao) and the CAS trip to Cambodia was one of his favourite memories that he chose to talk about.

 

Being a teacher at Yew Chung has allowed him to get to know the students both inside and outside the classroom. In the short film, we will hear briefly about the fact that he really likes to talk with students and get to know them better. He is not scary at all but actually funny at times!

 

The short film also reveals some very interesting things about the person who we mostly see in a classroom setting but who has a life outside too! Did you know that he very much likes playing and watching football? Watch on for this and more revealing surprises………!!!!!
